With over two decades in the financial services profession, Scott provides high-level experience and a complete array of investment and retirement planning services. Scott is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM.
He has extensive experience in assisting AT&T, Verizon and Federal Government employees with their pursuit of a successful retirement and distribution plan. He has in-depth knowledge of employee benefits including pension, health care, retirement, and 401k/IRA plans. Throughout his tenure in the financial services profession, he has consulted with hundreds of employees from major corporations and government offices as well as highly successful business professionals.
Scott currently holds through LPL Financial the Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations along with Group 1 Life and Health Insurance license. He is a registered representative with LPL Financial.
Scott is also an active member of the Dallas/Fort Worth Financial Planning Association and takes every opportunity possible to continue his education and keep abreast of industry changes and investment strategies.
Scott is always willing to lend a helping hand. He is an active member of Valley View Christian Church and one of his fondest experiences as a member was his mission trip to Joplin, Missouri after the devastating EF5 tornado in 2011. He’s always been amazed with the awesome power of tornados, but that mission impressed him with the awesome power of community outreach and human embrace.
Scott has also served as a mentor to students in the Frisco ISD Independent Study/Mentor Program which allows business professionals to share career and life advice with high school students.
Scott earned his Bachelors in Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.
Scott met his wife, Misty, while both were attending Texas Tech University. They are now the proud parents of four handsome boys, Trevor, Harper, Keaton and Maverick. They reside in Carrollton, Texas and are very active in their church, outdoor life and various family-focused activities.
